Christos Dimitriou, born in Lemnos and currently residing in Thessaloniki, is a professional photographer collaborating with Nikos Vavdinoudis (studiovd.gr). His work spans landscapes, people, and intriguing situations, aiming to redefine reality and highlight what he deems significant. Influenced by the unassuming gaze of Bernard Plossu, the urban charm of Saul Leiter, the subtle humor of Jim Jarmusch, and the strange world of David Lynch, Dimitriou's photography raises questions rather than providing answers.
His notable projects include "Osmosis," "Rhapsody I," "Greetings from Limnos," and "Woman." He has studied under Kostis Antoniadis, Stratos Kalafatis, and George Giatromanolakis, and his work has been awarded and exhibited in Greece and abroad.
