artim Ramos (Portugal, 1983) is a visual artist working mostly with photography and film. He has an MA in Photography (RCA, London) and a degree in History of Art (FCSH-NOVA).
He has published in magazines such as Aint-Bad, Le Monde, Japan Times, Serafina, Time Magazine, Libération, Público, Expresso, Time Out and Jornal I. He was the resident photographer and Image Editor at Obscena – Performative Arts Magazine. He was a member of the photographers’ collective Kameraphoto.
His work features in the following books: Future Archive (Folium, 2022), The Lesson of the Vine (Rut Blees Luxemburg, The Everyday Press, 2019), Um Diário da República (Kameraphoto, 2011), A State of Affairs (Kameraphoto, 2009), 450 (Kameraphoto, 2009) and Lusofonia (Kameraphoto, 2007). Published the book Melancholia, co-directed the documentary Othon and is part of MAAT’s collection.
