Alessandra Baldoni

Alessandra Baldoni was born in Perugia, where she studied too. She lives in a little country town near Trasimeno Lake. Of her land she loves clean skies, the grasses’ s dark green and the firm wisdom of lake; of her city she loves cold and fresh cleaned wind that insinuates into the white stone alleys, the light that seems like crystal and the rough and poignant city’ s heart.

She always been in love with literature, her emotions are attached to the page’s line. The words are a healing, an antidote to the wound, bread to survive. She photographs since was eight and she always wrote.

In her art, images born and arise up from words, they are like morning fragments that belong to a powerful dream and enigmatic too. She shows real set after carefully preparing each particular. She loves mystery and stories, poems, books, cinema, her puppy dog Nina, good food and good wine, photos found in small markets, wood boxes and typographical ancient types.
